Why? Well I decided late last year it would be a great personal challenge on the occasion of my 50th birthday in May 2011 to get fit again, lose weight and take on an epic European bike tour with some friends & fellow cyclists. Its over 2600 km's with some stages on famous roads & mountain climbs as seen in Le Tour de France. So 3 weeks of riding, 2 rest days and according to the brochure - just some 35,000 metres of climbing! Thanks for your support. Best Regards, John M.
